This is the version of the game used at science festivals and open days. After you have estimated the number of whales in the game by flying an aerial survey, the game tells you what the true number was. So you can download and play this version of the game to improve your estimation skills.

This is the version to use to enter the competition. In it you fly an aerial survey to estimate the number of whales. The game then encodes your score but does not tell you what the true number of whales was. You can enter the competition using the "Submit your score" link on the left of the page.
